Refund policy

At Mielie & Reu, every product is made with care to bring joy, creativity, and calm to your home. We want you to love your play couch as much as your little ones do. If, however, something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is:

• Unused and in its original condition, with all packaging and tags intact.

• Free from any stains, marks, pet hair, or odours.

• Returned in its original packaging to ensure it arrives back safely.

To request a return, please email us at info@mielieandreu.co.za with your order number and reason for return.

Once approved, you’ll receive detailed return instructions.

Please note:

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

• Once we’ve received and inspected your item, a refund or store credit will be processed (excluding shipping fees).

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange your item for a different colour or product, simply let us know within 7 days of delivery.

We’ll happily arrange an exchange once your original item has been returned in perfect condition. Any price difference or shipping costs will be communicated prior to dispatch.

Faulty or Damaged Items

We take great care in packaging each order, but if your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@mielieandreu.co.za with clear photos.

We’ll prioritise a replacement or repair at no additional cost to you.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we’re unable to accept returns on:

• Items that have been used or washed.

• Custom-made or discounted sale items.
